Motherhood session at the beach // Delaware, Ohio family photographer

I have a soft spot for mommy and me sessions.

As a mother, I feel responsible for cataloguing our memories and have appointed myself photographer for our family’s events and day-to-day activities. Obviously, I love it, but I regret that I’m never in the photos with my family (which is why we get our family photos taken on the regular). So I was thrilled when this mama wanted to have a special session with her little one at the beach this summer.

She wanted to capture the bond between them and the way that they like to play together, and we had so much fun doing just that. I know that she and her daughter will cherish these family photos in the years to come.
