Looking for an LGBTQ friendly photographer in Columbus, Ohio?
In my opinion, there is one rule more important than the rest for creating great portrait photography: the subjects need to feel seen, respected, and comfortable with their photographer. That is the only way to capture images that are truly genuine and representative of a person and/or family, which is kinda the whole point, right?
That’s why it’s so important to me to express that I am proud to be an LGBTQ friendly photographer serving families in Columbus, Ohio.
I want you to rest assured that I DO see, respect and value your family, just as it is, and I want to capture the beauty of it for you.
I know when I’m looking to purchase a service or product it is important to me to support businesses whose values align with my own (or at least don’t go against them). Why should it be any different for photography?
My approach to photography is relaxed, fun, and slow. I love to lean into the moment to see what naturally unfolds. I take a lot of time prior to the session to work with each client to learn about their family, what’s important to them, what they most want captured, and where/when everyone will feel most comfortable having their photo taken.
We get to know each other during an in-depth consultation call, so that once we meet for your session, you’re likely already very comfortable around me.
Comfort equals trust equals genuine imagery.
I feel deeply called to find the unique beauty in each person and family I photograph. Life can be so messy, overwhelming, stressful, and so often we feel we aren’t good enough.
If I can take a single photograph during your session that helps you believe you ARE good enough, that your family adores you just as you are, or where your children can see how much they are loved, then I have done the job I set out to do.
If you’re looking for an LGBTQ friendly photographer in Columbus, Ohio, I hope you’ll reach out today for a no-pressure consult. I’m here to answer any questions you may have!
