A Creative Family Photoshoot at Alum Creek // Columbus, Ohio

Awhile back I started following a couple of iconic film photographers based in Hawaii and Southern California on Instagram. I became envious of their colorful beach photos and how beautiful the blue water and blue skies looked on film. And then I realized I didn’t need to be envious, because I could create that right here in Ohio. Is it as beautiful as the ocean? Not quite, but the camera picks up the good parts and leaves the rest behind ;)

As always, the most important element of any photo session is YOU and the connection you have with your favorite people. I mean we could get beautiful photos in a parking lot. But if you love the idea of the sun shining down on you, your feet squishing in the sand and splashing in the water, the colors of the beach all around, then this is the perfect location for you.
